All taken in Madison, Wisconsin except for a couple of them.
All are on black & white film.
I'm cheating with the size of these photos because the focusing was off on a few. They wouldn't work on their own but I think they work perfectly fine here.
Full view this thing other wise there's no point in looking at the scaled image.
Though it is a large image.

And that there are cheesy film strip borders, but I kinda like it.
The lake was super reflective and I was really looking for something like this. I have always wanted to photograph willow trees on the lake, so at the time I was really trying to channel that idea into the photo.
Did you ever watch Six Feet Under? It's about a family who owns a funeral parlour. There's a few episodes where the daughter is into photography and did a whole series where she photographed the dead people. Maybe pushing it. But still, interesting.

Hmm, didn't see this reply before, sorry. I've seen a little bit of the show when it first came out but fell out of it I guess and never caught back up.
Everyone has there own taste and boundaries.
Makes me think of funeral photography. A somewhat growing field.
Well perhaps not growing hugely, but I think it's becoming more common for people wanting photographers to document special occasion in their life. Documenting the wakes and funerals, like weddings or any event. I suppose some do photograph the deceased. I read a story where the family wanted a family portrait with the open casket.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I just see it as the nature of life and my goal is to record life.
